Once we have a shared vision with actionable steps, we build community-centered design solutions that are cost effective and adaptable.   In the context of sustainability, human-centered design is informed by human values—namely, a desire for health and happiness—and adheres to the principle that urban and real estate development creates a framework for life.

Your Part:  You evaluate and prioritize the sustainable interventions that work for your community and help address barriers to economic opportunity (e.i. broadband mapping, transportation, living-wage paying jobs, loss of population and more).

You Get: A Project Plan with detailed timeline on deliverables.  Definition of Ready, Project Scope, Pilots, Testing, Outcomes, Metrics, Risk Analysis, Implementations, and Progress Analysis to boost impact.

We custom design interactive dashboards, charts, maps, report, infographics and all you need to track your progress.   Keep an eye on metrics that matter and what you need to learn to keep your stakeholders informed.  For example, there are four main factors of economic growth: land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship.  The green economy adds one more factor –sustainability.  This growth in aggregate supply or capacity can occur due to:

• Development of new technology, e.g. steam power and telegrams helped productivity in the nineteenth century. The Internet, AI and computers are helping to increase productivity in the twenty-first century.

• Introduction of new management techniques, e.g. Better industrial relations helps workers become more productive. Technology, innovation and automation are demanding flexibility and a new set of accommodations for workers, e.g. childcare, more flexible working practices – working from home, self-employment. Increased net migration – especially encouraging workers with the skills that are in short supply (e.g. builders, fruit pickers)

• Skilling, upskilling and reskilling of inter-generational populations typically impacted by infrastructure and lack of digital literacy.

Together, we’ll integrate examples of sustainability performance metrics in economic development:

• Physical activity: Community's necessities should be within walking distance—encouraging people to get 10,000 steps a day for pleasure and without treadmills. 

• Safety and community: New projects will incorporate green strategies and green spaces where people can create a safe, inclusive, and supportive community.

• Quality of life: We will help you design the dashboards to measure the quality of the time people spend with their families, friends, and even strangers within the development and the types of activities they engage in.
